Industry Clusters

The state of Pennsylvania has clustered certain industries which are linked by common product markets, labor pools, similar technologies, supplier chains and/or other economic ties. The clusters were developed to help determine the performance of state and local economies. Warren County is host to ten of the 11 industry clusters. Approximately 66% of Warren's employment falls within these ten clusters:

Industry Partnerships

Industry Partnerships bring together regional employers, economic developers, labor leaders, and educators to improve the competitiveness of businesses and organizations sharing similar products or services. The partnerships help employers retain and recruit employees by identifying training needs, developing new career pathways, and aligning educational curricula to industry demands. ore than 400 hundred companies representing 1 industry clusters participate in Industry Partnerships in northwestern Pennsylvania.
